Dr. Siobhan McCarty, MD, FACOG
Dr. Siobhan is a fellowship trained, board certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 15 years of clinical experience devoted to women’s health, restorative wellness, and compassionate care. Her work has taken her far beyond traditional medical settings, shaping a philosophy rooted in global perspective, deep listening, education, and whole-person healing.
Dr Siobhan studied Human Science at Georgetown University, and earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following residency at Christiana Care in Delaware, Dr. Siobhan pursued a path that differed from conventional clinical medicine. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania, East Africa for three and a half years, where she completed a fellowship in Global Health Clinical Education awarded by Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital. Working alongside physicians, nurses, educators, and public health leaders, she helped provide sustainable clinical and academic training within nursing and medical schools while supporting broader public health initiatives focused on improving long-term health outcomes.

Her career has also included work in rural hospitals in Vermont, a Native hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, and a multi-specialty health practice and surgery center in Accra, Ghana. Across each setting, Dr. Siobhan developed a deeper understanding of the importance of culturally thoughtful, individualized, and relationship-centered care.
A large part of her career has been spent in academic medicine, where she has provided clinical education and mentorship to medical students and resident physicians in Tanzania, George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington D.C., and Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she continues to teach virtually. These experiences continue to shape the way she approaches care today through curiosity, collaboration, evidence based medicine, and a belief that women deserve to feel fully heard, supported, and empowered to honor their bodies within their healing journey.
